Gantner's power plant controller Q.reader has been granted device certificates by CERE, an independent testing, simulation, certification and inspection body, stating compliance with the Portuguese grid code for all plant sizes of types A, B, C and D. Gantner provides complete monitoring and control solutions for the largest PV plants in Europe, including the 650 MW plant in Germany connected to the 380 kV grid and other large PV plants, also in the Iberian Peninsula. The first plant in Portugal using the Gantner solution was delivered this summer with 27 MW installed power in central Portugal.
